1WM is the winner in the nomination "Service with the largest number of exchange pairs"
March 18, 2025
The Kursoff team continues to introduce you to the winners in various nominations on our platform. Top exchanger of January received the title of "Service with the most exchange pairs" — and that is FirstWayMoney.
To learn more about the secrets of 1WM's success, we reached out directly to the service team. Ready to hear insights from the project manager? Let's go!
– Hi! To start, tell us briefly about yourself: what is your name, which exchange service do you represent, and how long have you been in the crypto community?
– Hello everyone! My name is Vlad, I am the development manager and project leader of 1WM — First Way Money.
I joined the crypto industry relatively recently. Cryptocurrencies had interested me for a long time, but I started studying this field more deeply about three years ago, thanks to a friend who introduced me to this world. Gradually, step by step, I aimed to develop and move forward.
– How would you describe 1WM in a few sentences? Why should users choose your service over hundreds of others?
– Although 1WM has been operating for 8 years and has thousands of positive reviews, I believe this is just the beginning of its development. We continuously expand our range of services, offering customers more opportunities.
From design to every exchange direction — we approach everything with enthusiasm. Our goal is to make the service as convenient as possible and something we would personally enjoy using.
Our main advantages are simplicity, security, reliability, and an individual approach. Just one experience with 1WM is enough to understand our quality.
– Why was this particular name chosen?
– It's an interesting story. 1WM has been around for a long time and has a good reputation, but we recently switched to a new script and completely redesigned the website. This became a breath of fresh air for our project, so we decided to do a slight rebranding.
Previously, we didn’t have a clear abbreviation explanation, but since many clients asked about its meaning, we decided to clarify it.
1WM stands for First Way Money, meaning "first path." This makes sense for us, as many users begin their journey into cryptocurrency through our service.
– Your service recently changed its domain from .kz to .io. What was the reason for this decision?
– It was a necessary measure. In some countries, access to our service was restricted, and users constantly had to use a VPN, which is not always convenient.
We analyzed all possible options and decided that changing the domain would be the best solution to improve platform accessibility. We see this as an important step in our rebranding process.
– Tell us about your team: how many people work on the service, and how are responsibilities distributed?
– If we don’t count the large team of developers, cybersecurity experts, and quality control specialists, five people are directly involved in the project. They process requests, communicate with clients, seek new development opportunities, and constantly monitor exchange rates.
I also take part in all these processes.
"A well-selected team is the key to the success of any project, and I am proud of my team."
Vlad – CEO of First Way Money
– What script do you use for the exchange platform?
– We've been working on LARA for several months now.
Previously, we used a Premium script, but due to some ethical issues, poor support, and difficulties in integrating new features, we decided to switch to another platform.
LARA is a new product that caught our interest. Yes, there are still some aspects that need improvement, but the developers are available 24/7 and implement our requests within hours. This is a huge advantage.
As they say: "We took a risk — we got a profit."
– What languages is your website available in?
– We recently added Ukrainian localization! 🎉
Understanding today's realities, we strive to provide quality service and listen to customer wishes.
Currently, our site is available in three languages: Ukrainian, English, and Russian. If there is a demand for additional languages, we are ready to introduce new localizations.
– What chat service do you use for online support?
– We switched to Binotel — a Ukrainian product with 24/7 support.
Previously, we used different services like Jivo, Chaport, Tawk, but Binotel offers better functionality for a significantly lower price.
– How do you conduct AML transaction checks?
– Like all other exchange services, we are obliged to conduct AML checks on all transactions. This is not only a requirement of monitoring services but also a guarantee of asset legitimacy.
We value our reputation, so we only work with clean coins. To process payments, we use a famous exchange, which we have trusted for many years.
– Thank you for the insightful interview! What would you like to wish our readers and your business colleagues?
– Take more risks, gain new experiences, and keep developing. Even if you face challenges, they will only make you stronger. The most valuable things are knowledge and experience. Thank you for the conversation! 😊
